Our day camp and swim lesson summer programs are coming to an end!!
The last day is Friday, August 10th. We want to thank all of our fantastic 2018 Volunteens, so we’ll celebrate the end of the season on Sunday, August 12th with a party. They all did an outstanding job assisting the day camp leaders and swim instructors.
I want to thank my amazing swim instructors who taught your children to swim and be water safe. It’s a difficult job… they’re in the water and the hot sun for long periods of time. It’s all worth it when they see a young swimmer gain confidence and develop efficient strokes.
Day Camp was loud and fun as usual…it’s wonderful seeing young children running and playing and making new friends. They have played board games, watched movies, made some pretty awesome crafts, learned new outdoor games, made up some of their own crazy games and just had a good time. That’s what it’s all about.
