The City of Brea and Lennar Homes (developer of the former Mercury site) met with more than 100 Glenbrook residents on Wednesday, January 14, to discuss potential traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Associated Road and Greenbriar Lane, along with traffic-mitigation strategies to reduce cut-through traffic in the Glenbrook neighborhood. This meeting gave residents the opportunity to hear directly from decision-makers, ask questions, and provide feedback on proposed solutions impacting neighborhood safety.

Further discussion will take place at the City of Brea Traffic Committee meeting on Thursday, February 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center, Executive Conference Room 1, located at Civic Center Circle. It is important for Glenbrook residents to attend this meeting to voice concerns and ask questions about potential changes that may affect our community.

To prepare for the Traffic Commission meeting, we will hold a Glenbrook community meeting on Tuesday, February 10, at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will allow residents to share concerns, develop questions, and formulate suggestions for possible solutions. Please plan to attend and email your discussion topics and recommendations to nfoxhall@breaglenbrook.org prior to February 10, 2026. We want to make sure everyone’s voice is heard.
